For over 50 years, the American Hotel & Lodging Association’s Educational Institute has been the source for providing industry-tested, research-driven hospitality training resources. The Educational Institute continues to meet and exceed its education and training mission by using the Internet, videos, DVD’s, textbooks, study guides, seminars, and professional certification to train all levels of personnel.

There are two ways to take advantage of the American Hotel & Lodging Association Educational Institute products and services:

• CH&LA members can purchase Educational Institute products, services, certifications, and seminar materials at special discount member pricing online for over 800 products by clicking on any of the categories listed below or via fax or mail through CH&LA’s Education & Training Catalog.
• In addition, CH&LA has developed and maintains a FREE Training Library which features the Educational Institute's training programs. The products available in the CH&LA Training Library can be checked-out online or by clicking on any of the categories listed below or via fax or mail through CH&LA’s Education & Training Catalog. Requirements for use of CH&LA’s Training Library are simple:

• CH&LA member requests must be made on a Training Library Order Form.
• Payment of $15.00 per order to cover shipping & handling must accompany each order.
• Request up to any three (3) items per order (any combination of videos, CD-ROM’s or books).
• You may borrow these items for a maximum of three (3) weeks from the date received. (Some items may be restricted by demand.) There will be a late charge of $25.00 for items not returned on time.
• Borrowers are responsible for the return shipping to CH&LA.
• If items are not returned, borrower is liable for the cost of replacement.

While most training videos/programs can be used as stand-alone training items, some require special participant manuals and/or exam packets when using them as a certification course or if you want to test your employees. Those participant manuals and exams may be purchased from CH&LA at special member rates.
